World’s Largest Truck Convoy!

0 Worlds Largest Truck Convoy!Interstate 5 north of Redding,CA had been closed for about 24 hours. CalTrans reopened the highway but they were still screening each vehicle at a checkpoint to make sure everyone had tire chains in possession before proceeding. The “chain check” resulted in a 25 mile traffic jam consisting on mostly semi’s. The jam went from Mt. Gate,CA to Cottonwood,CA. CalTrans, you FAIL!

    This same thing happen on CA Hwy 14 in Palmdale, CA. when Hwy 14, I-5, I-15 was closed due to a freak snow storm in December ’08. Lots of backup traffic.
