0 Snow Chains, an Idiots Guide;)Snow chains are fitted to the back tyres of a rear wheel drive car. Unlike the Northern European countries and Canada we are not accustomed to this severe Winter weather in the UK or snow chains for that matter…until now!!!!!!
Instead of being stranded up a hill it is a good idea to have some snow-chains in your boot and know how to fit them. Here is my Winter survival guide for the Alpine regions of the UK!!!! btw it is -2 C here and snowing.

    @lorlive Yes this severe weather is becoming more frequent now all over Europe so we need to know how to get around safely. Once you know how to put the chains on you need never be afraid of getting stranded in the snow! I quite agree with you a bottle of Captain Morgain would not come amiss too, also some chocolate bars, a flask of soup and a shovel for a trip to the shops…or even to get to the end of the street for that matter LOL!

    @ameliessong Thanks I am pleased you liked this video, It is good to know about snow chains if you are a driver.The weather has taken us by surprise in Sunderland as it normally doesn’t snow so bad in November and I have never seen the snow so deep ever! I filmed this at about eleven at night and I think people around here had gone to bed instead of getting their snow chains out, how unprepared can you get eh.. haha!

    Tu as raison Mitsy ,car mettre des chaines pour la neige, il faut tout un apprentissage, car on à pas trop l’habitude de faire cela de toute l’année….Et les surprises que le temps nous réserve devient de plus en plus fréquent, donc il faut bien s’équiper et savoir utiliser le matériel….En prime ne pas oublier la petite bouteille de rhum dans la boite à gants (lol)…Bon courage…Bonne journée..Evelyne…

    Snow chains are completely foreign to me as well! If we had that much snow the people around here would think it’s the end of the world. I noticed how quiet your street is and from my point of view the snow is beautiful. The two of you did a nice job. Even I got it!♥
