Should I get chains if I already have studded tires on my 4wd car?

I have a 2009 subaru impreza, of course 4WD, and I wanna know if I need to purchase chains even though I have studded tires on my car already? Roads are icy and we are expecting snow very soon. Are studded tires enough? I wanna know what’s the best option for me to be safe.

Chains have a advantage over studded tires, but both are for different driving condtions. So useing them together is not a good idea. Chains will do better of ice or snow, and studs do fair on snow.
